The Insanity of It All
The insanity of it all…
It’s the most insane time ever to be alive. At least for me and those currently awake to all that’s going on in and throughout our planet. Bizarre and neurotic are terms that come quickly to mind.
It’s February 11, 2022, and we’re standing on the cusp of so many conflicting world events all at one time. And yet people are eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage just as it was in the days of Noah. We’re on the cusp of WW3 between many world super-powers (Russia/Ukraine, China/Taiwan, Iran/Israel). We’re standing on the precipice of the Gog/Magog war talked about in Scripture. We’re entering the third year of this crazy world wide “plandemic” that has positioned us stunningly well to enter into what the Bible refers to as the Great Tribulation - a time of darkness and evil covering this earth the likes of which NO ONE has ever experienced before in history. Phew. I’m not the best history student but I have read of some incredibly evil and dark times throughout recorded civilizations, I simply can’t fathom enduring anything worse. And yet, it’s what we’re promised in scripture in the end of this age. It’s a time that I pray NO ONE I know and love has to walk through. I pray NO living soul has to endure what is to come but, tragically, I know this won’t be the case according to Scripture. Despite our loving heavenly Father’s repeated and desperate attempts to win and woo all our hearts, so many of His image-bearers still have rejected His only begotten son, Jesus (His eternal plan for salvation) and an eternity spent with Him in Heaven.
As a watchwoman/truth seeker/intel gatherer, I’m constantly scouring world events as contrasted against the truths of Scripture. I’ve been watching and waiting for as long as I can remember but all the “birth pangs” (as scripture refers to them) have been so far spread apart and infrequent that I seriously didn’t believe I would truly ever live to see such times, even though I knew I had been created, wired and destined to walk through them. I now know this beyond any shadow of a doubt and is the reason I never fully “fit” in with the rest of this profoundly sick society. I’ve finally found the habitat for which my heart was created. It’s to fight and expose the evil deeds done in darkness (Ephesians 5:11) and help rescue as many lost, vulnerable and helpless souls as I’m able. I’ve had a hard time finding my footing for exactly what this fight looks like but I do know that this is why I am walking Planet Earth for “such a time as this”. My daily prayer is that I will boldly show up and confront whatever “deeds done in darkness” that He brings to my awareness. I want to be the standard that He raises during such darkened and perplexing times.
As the world gathers to participate in satanic rituals this weekend such as the Super Bowl (or Superb Owl as it’s really known in occult circles) and the Winter Olympics in Beijing, China (of all places), we’re in an insanely high watch window for the rapture! Our enemy knows Biblical prophecy much, much better than we do and has been trying to counter what is to come since the beginning of time. He’s been privy to the Word of God since he was in the throne room of Heaven with our Lord and Savior speaking the angelic dialect of Heaven. Since he and his cohort have been cast down here to wreak havoc on God’s perfect will and plan, he’s been not only been predictively programming us but has been positioning his puppets in positions of power in every single sphere of our world. We mustn’t forget that this world is, indeed, under his dominion until our Lord Messiah Yeshua returns in triumphant power at His glorious Second Appearing!
As this weekend plays out, I continue watching and waiting with my lamp filled with oil awaiting the rapture of the Bride before all hell breaks out here on earth in the rapidly approaching Great and Terrible Day of our Lord. May I pray to be found worthy to escape all these things just as He instructs me to do in Luke 21:36! And may I be faithful in the sharing of His amazing love and breathtaking gift of eternal salvation and life spent with Him with every soul that will listen!
